Well, I guess it depends on which God you’re talking about, but if you’re referring to the one to which I’m accustomed (Christian), there’s a little logical problem I have with that.

If, as I’ve been taught, God is Love, then God cannot hate anything. I direct you to 1 Corinthians 13:4 - 13 in which God (or someone under the spiritual direction thereof, from what I’ve been told) defines “love” (specifically verse 8 in which it notes that tongues and so-called prophecies and knowledge will all be stilled in the presence of Love).

If this verse is an accurate portrayal of God (which, as we know, is Love), whoever said this is a) a moron, b) misguided, or c) working for Satan. If God does, in fact, hate gay people, then a paradox has been created and God doesn’t exist.

So, I must inquire… does God hate gay people or does he simply not exist?
